Girls & Boys begins like a classic love story. A one-woman play that dissects a passionate romance turning into a disturbing nightmare. An unnamed woman narrates meeting her husband, building a life, and having two children, while her career succeeds and his fails. The play gradually reveals how his resentment leads to horrific destruction. The set in a working studio, where the lead character is renacting and rewriting her memories in order to create a documentary of her life.
